Ensemble Mik Nawooj just completed a theme song for the Global People's Summit organized by the Humanity Lab Foundation in partnership with the United Nations Office of Partnership, under the theme: Reimagine Humanity.
The music, composed by EMN’s artistic director, JooWan Kim, is a deconstruction of Introduction and Lion from Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals for 68 piece full symphony orchestra and a 20 piece choir with the EMN’s signature Hip-Hop orchestral sound. On top of this massive ensemble, EMN’s MCs, Do D.A.T. and Sandman, have written poignant rhymes regarding today’s political climate and what it means to come together for a positive outcome.
